“Seven people and their desperate search for escape, only one will survive. The last performance of a pantomime is held at an old, isolated theater in provincial England. The show has been a disaster, attracting only a handful of locals. The final party afterwards turns out even worse and some of the cast and crew slip away for their own private session in the creepy basement. Amongst the group are the enviable pantomime leads and real-life lovers Clarice and Nathan, currently not speaking, the womanizing director Derrick and the thirty-something, obscure stage assistant Janet. As their bash kicks off Derrick disappears, only to be found with his throat savagely slashed. When they discover that they’re locked in the next victim dies. The killing continues. Paranoia grows. Nobody can be trusted. Written by Elzemieke de Tiège”

Movie: Uncrowned (2009)
“A docudrama will focus on four young university students as they follow their dream to build a robot that will win the annual robot competition (ROBOCON) in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and bring recognition to themselves and their school. Fueled more by optimism and a passion for engineering than a practical and well thought out plan, they begin work in a dark, forbidding, rented basement. They have little luck in finding sponsors to help them buy the necessary tools and parts for their creation, and must scrounge or make many of the components themselves. They do not even have enough money to feed themselves while spending the endless hours of labor on their robot. Hunger and fatigue take their toll when minor personality conflicts erupt as the deadline nears. One of the students must repair a fractured relationship with his wife who just give birth to their baby. She got little support from him because of his drive to finish the robot. Eventually they approach the administration of their school for help and are given the use of a large, well lit, room to work in. It is here that they discover that part of their project, the Traveling Robot, is too large and must be completely rebuilt. Rushing to complete their work they hope to be able to put the finishing touches on their dream machine at the venue, only to learn that they will be among the first contestants to go on. Out of time and out of luck, their robot performs poorly. And while they reflect sadly on what might have been, they also have a feeling of pride when they are awarded the trophy for being the hardest working team. And they know that by essentially creating something out of nothing they are indeed winners. Written by Oyundary Tsagaan”

Movie: …But Film is My Mistress (2010)
“Guided by Liv Ullmann and with commentaries from a number of prominent filmmakers for whom Bergman is and remains an important influence – such as Woody Allen, Olivier Assayas, Bernardo Bertolucci, Arnaud Desplechin, John Sayles, Martin Scorsese and Lars von Trier, the film provides a vivid portrait of the artist who in each new project found a challenge for himself and for the people he worked with – both actors and colleagues behind the camera. Movie: Unconvention: A Mix-Tape from St. Paul, RNC '08 (2009)
“Political party conventions are not known for being memorable, except of course when they are. ’68 ring a bell? For four days in September of 2008 the Republicans took over the sleepy city of Saint Paul and it became, in a very real sense, a battleground. Smoke bombs, percussion grenades, pepper spray and journalist arrests bid for attention with Policy, Palin and McCain. It was a convention unlike any other: The party of the least popular sitting president since Hoover, a hurricane, and a lot of protesters. Another new addition: an army of independent journalists covering it. Unconvention is a film about all of this, told through the eyes of the media. Ultra-Conservative, Ultra- Liberal and everything in between. This is an abstract portrait of a very concrete process, remixed into a new linear whole. Written by Chris Strouth”
