Trivia: The “Hogwart’s Express” locomotive portrayed in this film, a 1937 4-6-0 “Hall” class steam engine number 5972, originally belonged to the Great Western Railway and went under the name of “Olton Hall”.

Goofs: Revealing mistakes: During the scene in the reptile house in the zoo, the snake, a Burmese Python, not a magical creature, is blinking. Snakes cannot blink because they have no eyelids. Instead of eyelids they have transparent scales over their eyes.
