Trivia: The “Bog Man” is heard speaking occasionally throughout the movie. A lot of what he says is nothing other than grunting, but several phrases are actually modern Irish Gaelic, specifically, “Uisce” (water) and “Saoirse” (freedom, usage is unrelated to the name of the female lead).

Goofs: Revealing mistakes: The “Bog Man” is seen to “make” his own shoes early on in the film, but later on he can clearly be seen wearing modern shoes with molded rubber soles.
